Professional Summary
Adam received his bachelor’s degree in Economics from the
University of Kent, Canterbury, U.K.; a bachelor’s degree in Economics
from Haverford College, Haverford, Pennsylvania, with honors and earned
his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Colorado School of
Law. While attending the University of Colorado, he was on the Dean’s
list, was given an American Jurisprudence Award and best student comment
award. He also served as managing editor and notes and comments editor
for the Colorado Journal of International Environmental Law and Policy.
After graduating from law school, Adam clerked with the honorable
Richard P. Matsch, Chief Judge for the United States District Court,
District of Colorado. After his clerkship, Adam attended New York
University, where he earned his Masters Degree (LL.M.) in Taxation. At
NYU, Adam served as a senior staff editor of Law Journal and has since
gone on to write and lecture extensively in the area of state and local
tax law, including authoring the book, Colorado Sales & Use Taxation,
The Complete State and Local Reference.
