Oreck, Crighton, Adams & Chase is a five-lawyer firm, focusing solely on state and local tax matters. Although the Firm initially had its roots in Louisiana tax issues, over the last decade, we have expanded to include tax services in several other states. The Firm has offices in both Boulder, Colorado and New Orleans, Louisiana.

We have represented and advised clients on a variety of tax issues, including income and franchise, sales and use, and property and ad valorem tax. Our lawyers utilize their extensive experience to counsel clients on tax planning, audit management and resolving tax disputes with state and local taxing authorities. We represent clients in administrative proceedings, before local governmental taxing authorities and through the court system. The Firm’s business is strictly pro-taxpayer and we decline any representation of a taxing authority.

In the area of continuing legal education, the Firm’s lawyers participate regularly as speakers for groups such as the Institute of Professionals in Taxation, the Council on State Taxation and numerous state CPA societies.
